The board is currently focused on carrying out the strategic plan that was developed and voted on by the membership. Included in this is:

developing a more effective web site,
exploring the potential of publishing a journal of interpreter education,
supporting the CCIE in its becoming an independent organization for accrediting programs, and
planning for the 2008 conference.
