Conference Call
May 17, 2009
Persons present: Cindy Farnham, Carolyn Ball, Cindy Volk, Laura Braucht, Myrelis Aponte-Samalot
Absent: Brian Morrison, Leslie Greer, Annette Miner, Suzanne Ehrlich
The meeting was opened by Vice-President, Cindy Farnham at 5:10 PST
1) February and March minutes were approved.
2) Discussion regarding the 2010 conference:
Action Items: Carolyn will email Laurie Metcalf and Doug Dittfurth with a cc to Myrelis that we would like to send two board members to San Antonio (possibly Cindy F and Myrelis) to finalize hotel details for the conference.
3)Everyone needs to get their flight information to Cindy F for the ASLTA conference as soon as possible.
4) Carolyn (Laura) moved that we sponsor the first Deaf Interpreter Conference for no more than $1,000. Motion carried. (B09: 07).
5) Carolyn (Cindy V) moved that we grant a 5 year membership to Doug Bowen-Bailey for his compensation as webmaster. Motion carried (B09: 08).
