Interpreter Coordinator

Works closely with Registration, Program Book, Volunteer and Program Chairs. Must be onsite during entire conference.

Duties:          

  1. Establish a firm deadline for applications from prospective interpreters.
  2. Send out an official call for interpreters and add it to the website.
  3. Review and select a team of skilled interpreters.
  4. Send out letters of acceptance and non-acceptance.
  5. Send out and collect contracts.
  6. Collect bios and pictures for the Program Book.
  7. Set up a schedule of assignments for the entire conference, including special events and luncheons.
  8. Collect travel receipts and invoices from interpreters and give them to the CIT Treasurer.
  9. Obtain checks from CIT Treasurer and hand out to interpreters.
  10. Collect presentation materials and distribute them to interpreters for preparation
  11. Submit a final report at the end of the conference
